The Prancing Puppy grew out of a simple belief: grooming should feel safe and low-stress for the dog, not just tidy for the owner. Owner Phadra works with one dog at a time, taking things at the pace each pup needs — which is why so many families have stayed with her for years, some driving in from well beyond Littleton just to keep coming back. Anxious dogs, seniors, and first-time puppies are especially welcome here; the goal is a calm visit and a happy, glamorous coat at the end of it. It's a genuinely personal salon, and the reviews tell that story better than we can.

I have been using Phadra (owner) for over 5 years. She always does a great job with the services provided. Most important is her approach to Zeus (our senior dog). She treats him like he is her own. Highly recommend!
Phadra does an incredible job with my Goldendoodle! She always takes such great care of him and every time I pick him up he looks amazing! She is speedy, efficient, and really cares for all of the dogs she sees. I will always recommend Prancing Puppy to anyone!
Phadra is the absolute best groomer I've ever worked with. I've been taking my goldendoodle to her regularly for 5 years, and we even travel all the way up from Castle Rock just to have her groomed! She is professional, great with communication, very cost friendly, and so gentle and sweet to my dog. I couldn't recommend her enough!
We love the Prancing Puppy! We've been clients for over 3 years and have followed her. Wrigley is happy to go and hang out at the salon with her friends — no anxiety or tears getting her there. She always comes back looking her most glamorous (Phadra does the best doodle cuts!). Two thumbs and two paws up!

What days and hours are you open?
We're open Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We're closed Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. Appointments fill up, so calling ahead is best.
How do I book an appointment?
Booking is by phone — just call us at (720) 850-9300 and we'll help you find a time that works. New dogs and new puppies are always welcome.
Do you groom doodles and other high-maintenance coats?
Yes. Doodle and specialty cuts are one of our favorite things to do, and they're a big part of what our regular clients come in for. These coats take extra time, and we're happy to give them the attention they need.
My dog is anxious, a senior, or new to grooming. Is that okay?
Absolutely — that's exactly who we love caring for. We work at a calm, patient pace so nervous dogs, seniors, and first-time puppies feel as safe and comfortable as possible.
